New Oral History Projects
This opportunity provides financial and capacity building resources to community organizations and individuals (“partners”) interested in conducting oral history projects. Potential projects may focus on: neighborhoods, social organizations, political history, labor, faith-based groups, cultural trends, historic events, or other themes that lend themselves to oral history as a tool for research and preservation.

Public Projects & Events
This opportunity provides financial and capacity building resources to community organizations and individuals (“partners”) interested in bringing EXISTING oral history collections out of the archives to produce public humanities projects. Potential projects may focus on: neighborhoods, social organizations, political history, labor, faith-based groups, cultural trends, historic events, or other themes that can draw on one or more collections of oral histories. All projects must be thematically focused on Washington, DC and must benefit the residents of Washington, DC.

Partnership Grant Extension
This opportunity provides financial and capacity building resources to community organizations and individuals (“partners”) interested in continuing work on an oral history project for which they previously received a DCOHC grant.
