On November 7th, HumanitiesDC celebrated the official launch of the 2020 Grant cycle with more than 100 attendees. HumanitiesDC grant managers were on-hand to meet prospective grantees and talk about upcoming funding opportunities.

Current grantees talked about their projects – where their inspiration came from, how the research has expanded their understanding of DC’s culture, and how the work has shaped them personally. Jasper Collier, HumanitiesDC Deputy Director of Programs, announced the new grant applications available on the website: DC DOCS Partnership Grant Program, the DC Oral History Collaborative and the Humanities Vision Grant. More program applications will be opening early December.

Thanks to all who attended!
